Helpful Tips & Submission Guidelines

Your award application is the only material judges will use in the first round of evaluations. Follow these tips to create a strong and complete submission:

Account Access Reminder

When starting your application, be sure to sign in or create your account using the same email address that received your nomination notification.

Your nomination is linked to that specific email.

If you need to update your email, please contact the Chamber office before beginning your application:

Before You Begin

  • Start early. Don't leave your application until the last minute—give yourself time to reflect and gather your materials.
  • Draft in Word or Google Docs before copying into the submission form to avoid losing your work.
  • Save as you go. The online platform allows you to save and return to your application anytime before the deadline.
  • Submit only one application. If nominated in multiple categories, choose the one that best aligns with your strengths.

Writing Your Responses

  • Be specific. Directly address the award criteria outlined in the application form and award category description.
  • Use real examples. Show how your business or organization meets the criteria and what sets you apart.
  • Write your Business Profile in third person. This will be used for judge reference and may be included in promotional materials. Highlight what makes your business, product, people, or process unique.

Supporting Materials

  • Letters of Support or Testimonials:
    • A minimum of one letter is recommended.
    • Choose strong, third-party validators who can speak to how you meet the award criteria.
    • Request these letters early to ensure they are submitted on time.
  • Business Logo:
    • Upload a high-resolution EPS or PDF file - formats for the best quality in event promotions.
  • Business Photos:
    • Submit at least five horizontal photos that represent your business and award category.
    • These images will be used in gala videos and promotional content.
