🌟 Have you come across a non-profit organization that has made a remarkable impact on the community through its programs and initiatives? *Organization must be in operation a minimum of 2 years as of Sept 1, 2023. *Must be incorporated as a society or charitable organization.

Requirements

The Not-for-Profit Excellence Award recognizes non-charitable or not-for-profit organizations that demonstrate excellence in projects, services, and/or events that positively impact the community. These organizations align their efforts with their mission and contribute to the social and cultural well-being of their community.

The judging process will consider the relative size of the organization.

Non-Profit must be incorporated as a society or charitable organization.

Must be in operation for a minimum of two years as of September 1, 2023.

To be considered for the Not-for-Profit Excellence Award, the organization must meet the following criteria:

  • Excellence in Programs, Projects, and Partnerships: The organization exhibits excellence in the design and implementation of their programs, projects, and partnerships. They demonstrate innovation, effectiveness, and a positive impact in addressing community needs and fulfilling their organizational mission.
  • Building a Stronger Community: The organization actively contributes to building a stronger community. Their initiatives promote social cohesion, inclusivity, and positive community engagement. They foster connections and collaboration among individuals, organizations, and stakeholders to create a more vibrant and resilient community.
  • Leadership and Measurable Success: The organization demonstrates strong leadership in their field and achieves measurable success aligned with their mandate. They provide evidence of the impact and outcomes of their initiatives, showcasing how their work has made a positive difference in the lives of individuals and the community.
