🌟Do you know a business that goes above and beyond to support the community? *Business must be in operation a minimum of 2 years as of Sept 1, 2023. *Non Profit ineligible for this award.

Requirements

The Community Support Excellence Award recognizes socially responsible businesses and their employees that actively contribute to the community by supporting sports, recreation, events, arts, charitable organizations, and non-profit initiatives. These businesses go above and beyond in returning value to the community through their personal time and/or resources.

Non-profit organizations are not eligible for this award.

Must be in operation for more than two years as of September 1, 2023.

To be eligible for the Community Support Excellence Award, a business must meet the following criteria:

  • Solid Reputation for Volunteering: The business has earned a solid reputation for actively volunteering within the community. Its employees are involved in various community initiatives, donating their time and expertise to support local causes.
  • Corporate Culture of Giving: The business promotes a corporate culture of giving back to the community. It emphasizes community investments that go beyond its core mandate, demonstrating a genuine commitment to making a positive social impact.
  • Long-Term Desire for Community Building: The business showcases a long-term desire to build diverse, inclusive, and balanced communities. It actively seeks opportunities to support initiatives that foster community development, inclusivity, and social cohesion.
