The Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to unveil the highly-anticipated list of nominees for the 36th Annual Business Excellence Awards.

We received a remarkable 128 nominations across ten award categories, acknowledging the outstanding accomplishments of 108 unique businesses, nominees, and community leaders. All nominations were validated, and the nominees were invited to complete official nomination packages to advance to the next phase of the selection process.

The next stage involves an extensive review of the validated nominations by the 2023 selection committee, comprised of 13 distinguished business and community leaders. Using well-defined criteria, these volunteer judges will determine the semi-finalists in each award category. The Semi-Finalist Announcement is scheduled for Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 5:30pm-7:30pm, during the Nominee Reception, hosted at and by Parker's Chrysler.

Nicole Clark, President of the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce shared her enthusiasm, stating, "I look forward to celebrating our local businesses whose owners continue to work passionately, not only for the good of their business but also for the well-being of the Penticton community as a whole."

Each and every one of our nominees has demonstrated excellence in business and a passion for our community, and we are incredibly excited to announce the full list for our 2023 Business Excellence Awards Nominees.

36th Annual Business Excellence Awards (Please note that not all nominees accepted their nominations, and the Chamber may reassign nominees to appropriate award categories based on criteria)

Michael Magnusson, Executive Director of the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the Chamber's commitment to fairness and sincerity in recognizing the exceptional contributions of businesses to the community. “With investments in technology and assigning multiple judges to each category who don't even know who else is adjudicating, each selection is made as objectively as possible.”

The award winners will be revealed during a grand gala event on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Penticton Lakeside Resort & Conference Centre, East Ballroom.

Tracy Van Raes, Manager of Marketing and Community Relations at Total Restoration Services, shared her excitement, stating, "Each year, our team eagerly anticipates the Business Excellence Awards, making it a highlight on our calendar. Total Restoration Services is proud to return as the presenting sponsor for the fourth consecutive year, as we come together to celebrate the achievements of our community at the 36th Annual Business Excellence Awards, themed 'Lights Camera Excellence – Old Hollywood Gala'."
